When shopping on Work.Danner.com, you might come across terms like "Out of Stock" or you might see that the product you're looking at says "Ships in 5-6 Weeks." While we are facing supply chain issues, the information below can help answer some of the questions you have on when items are expected to be in stock or ship directly to you.
Backordered
Certain styles will show an estimated shipping timeframe for certain sizes, which can range from 1 - 12 weeks. This timeframe is based on when we currently expect to be able to have the products ready to ship from our warehouse, but these dates can and do change based on many factors. If you see a shipping estimate next to the size you're interested in, you can add to cart and complete your purchase. Our system will run an authorization on your card when you submit your order, which will clear off your card within 3-5 business days. The charge will appear on your card when the style re-stocks and your order ships. If you need to make order changes, update card information or cancel a backorder, you can give us a call and edit the order anytime before it ships.
Out of Stock
If you see "Out of Stock" next to the size you're shopping for, that product cannot currently be ordered as it's re-stock date is more than 12 weeks out or it has been discontinued. Once the re-stock date is within 12 weeks of the current date, the product will now be available to order and should show an estimated shipping window. If the style you want is out of stock, you can choose to be notified via email when it is back in stock. To set an email alert, you'll need to visit the product page of the style you're interested in, select the size you want, and click the “notify me when available” button.
Closeout/Discontinued
We don't specify on the site when a style is being discontinued. If a style is marked down more than the others available to you, and your size is out of stock, then that style is likely discontinued. The exception to this is if we are having a sale on danner.com. We do pass sale pricing along to you. In that case, we may just truly be out of stock, with more coming.
